DENTALINE PRIVACY AGREEMENT
1. Introduction
• The privacy of doctors and patients using the Dentaline clinical management application is very important to us, and we are committed to protecting it.
• Dentaline clinic management application stores all doctor or patient information on the main computer installed within the clinic. It never creates copies of the data or transfers it to its own servers and computers.
2. Accessing personal data for technical service purposes:
Dentaline Clinic Management Application users can receive technical support by remotely accessing their computers. During this service, patient and physician information is not accessed unless absolutely necessary. If data needs to be examined to resolve a technical problem, after obtaining user consent, the necessary parts of the database are transferred, and access is granted only to the data required to solve the problem. After the process is complete, necessary updates are made on the user’s computer, and the information transferred to Dentaline is deleted. No copies are ever stored.
3. Backup of personal data
Dentaline performs periodic backups, with user permission, to prevent data loss in the event of an error. This backup process is carried out within the user’s computer, and the data is never transferred outside the computer.
4. Sharing personal data with third parties
Some modules of the Dentaline Clinic application allow for the submission of information to the Ministry of Health. Activated upon user request, these modules retrieve only the requested data from the database and send it to the Ministry of Health’s servers in the format specified by the Ministry. If the user does not request it, these modules are not activated, and no patient information is shared with the Ministry of Health.
The Dentaline Clinic application includes an appointment module for doctors to track patient appointments. This module can be synchronized with Google Calendar in a one-way manner if desired. In this case, patient appointments are sent to Google servers in a one-way manner. Users can activate and deactivate this module at any time using their Google ID and password.
The information sent to Google servers as part of Google Calendar is as follows:
a- Patient’s first and last name
b- Appointment date and time
c- Appointment note
Apart from the points mentioned above, user and patient information will not be removed from the Dentaline application or shared with other units.
